He completed his musical studies at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Milan, where he earned diplomas in Composition, Piano, and Band Instrumentation.
He later refined his training at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, obtaining a diploma of merit in the Film Music course under Luis Bacalov, and at Mogol’s University Center of Excellence for Popular Music, where he earned a diploma in Popular Music Composition. He completed his academic path at the “F. Venezze” Conservatory of Rovigo with a Second-Level Master’s Degree in Film Music Composition.
He was a finalist at the Oticons Faculty 2022 International Film Music Competition.
He participated as a scientific collaborator in the national research project PRIN, established at the Department of Applied Music of the Conservatory of Rovigo, dedicated to the analysis of the compositional language of Jóhann Jóhannsson. As part of this project, he was a speaker at the conference “The Hidden Harmony in the Music of Jóhann Jóhannsson” at the University of Udine.
He collaborated on the Folk Bagpipe project, a sound library dedicated to sampling the Calabrian–Lucanian bagpipe, published on the PFX “A Sound Effect” platform.
His compositions have been performed by the TransFormEnsemble within the projects “Musica in Piazza”, promoted by the Nuova Accademia di Arte e Cultura Cultural Association of Francavilla in Sinni.
He composed the incidental music for the theatrical productions “L’ultimo scugnizzo” by Raffaele Viviani and “I Menecmi” by Plautus, reinterpreted by director Aldo Fortunato.
He collaborated as an arranger and orchestrator at the audiovisual production laboratory MODU Lab, conceived by composer Marco Biscarini.
He composed the music for the short film “Sui propri passi”, produced as part of the “ABCinema” project and directed by Francesco Falaschi.
He collaborated on the soundtrack of the film “Quel posto nel tempo” by director Giuseppe A. Nuzzo, which premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on September 2, 2022, and was distributed by Nexo Digital. The soundtrack was released on CD by the label Soul Trade Music Publishing Group.
He has carried out ten years of teaching activity in Italian public schools as a Piano and Theory, Analysis, and Composition teacher, gaining solid experience in music education and student training. In the AFAM sector, he has been teaching Composition for Music Applied to Images at the “F. Venezze” Conservatory of Rovigo since 2022, and the following year he was appointed to a chair in the same discipline at the “E. R. Duni” Conservatory of Matera.
